I’M EXCITED THEY ANNOUNCED ELTON JOHN IS OPENING THE SPRINT CENTER!!! This will be fabulous!!! But I digress…

Mayor Mark Funkhouser said this week that he knew who the opening act was [Elton John] and that he was enthusiastic.

But he said if it were up to him, AEG would resurrect Jerry Garcia so the Grateful Dead could play. (HA! Funkhouser is great!!)

They are filming the new Indie movie in New Haven, CT at Yale University and the Yale Bowl. It’s open to the public to watch production and people are leaking pictures like crazy. Does Shia look like an angry lesbian in all that leather to anyone else? You are looking at one of several pics available at this link:

Looks like there are some support cables hanging from out of frame attached to both actors. It’s either for safety or they get in some kind of accident and fly off the bike. We’ll just have to wait and see.
