Adobe Unveils CS4
Posted by Bradley under BREAKING, Personal, Technology

That’s Creative Suite 4 for you non-geeks.
Master Collection will set you back a paltry $2,499.
Time to refinance.
It’s rumored native x64 bit compatibility has made it into this release. That means each application can use more than 3 gigs of RAM. Ooh, sweet, sweet RAM.
Except on OSX — you fail.

Quantum Of Solace Theme Surfaces Sans Coke Commercial
Posted by Bradley under Movies, Music

The new Quantum of Solace theme leaked out this week as an instrumental version — in, of all things, a Coke Zero commercial.
Such a tease.
Now Jack White and Alicia Keys lay it on us full-on-vocal-style.
Umm, yeah, I’m not impressed.
Maybe Coke was on to something?

Large Hadron Collider Webcams Are Entertaining
Posted by Bradley under Science, Technology

It’s been three days since the Large Hadron Collider came online.
No black holes.
No Cloverfield attack.
And in response to increasing public curiosity about the experiment the LHC team has setup two webcams for your viewing pleasure.
I totally spotted the Cigarette Smoking Man.

Posted by Bradley under Movies, Technology

Leave it to Fatty McFatfat Michael Moore to break into the world of digital film distribution.
On September 23, his latest, Slacker Uprising will be available to download for free for three weeks only.
It tells the tale of Moore’s 2004 multi-city tour through America’s swing states to rally the youth vote.
After that you have to buy it from Amazon or rent it from Netflix.
Chris Carter. Please. Bring the X-Files to the tubes where it belongs.
