Explore Ancient Rome In 3D With Google Earth
Posted by Bradley under Technology

Google launched Ancient Rome 3D today via it’s Google Earth software.
- Download Google Earth
- Navigate to the Layers panel on the lower left
- Expand the Gallery layer
- Turn on the Ancient Rome 3D layer
And you’re off exploring 6,700 of the city’s historic buildings; detailed interiors and all.

UPDATE: It seems some people are having trouble viewing the layer… be patient, “Rome wasn’t built in a day! The Ancient Rome 3D layer will be available soon.” says Google.

Obama’s Blog: Scenes From Election Night
Posted by Bradley under Movies, News, Personal

Barack Obama‘s blog has a Flickr slide show of photos taken during Election Night 2008 with some great behind the scenes shots.
My favorites are Obama‘s reaction to McCain‘s, admittedly, moving concession speech.

And you might have seen this amazing picture floating around the tubes yesterday.
Completely unofficial and probably staged but moving none-the-less.

LIVE BLOG: Rude Awakening
Posted by Bradley under Kansas City, Live, Live Blog

A wasp just stung me – on my hand – in my bed – at 5:30 in the morning.
Then it ended up on my shoulder!
Oscar is ok!

My hand, on the other, umm, hand, hurts really, really bad!
FART!
