Michael Moore To Premiere Internet-Only Film For Free

Posted by Bradley under Movies, Technology

Leave it to Fatty McFatfat Michael Moore to break into the world of digital film distribution.

On September 23, his latest, Slacker Uprising will be available to download for free for three weeks only.

It tells the tale of Moore’s 2004 multi-city tour through America’s swing states to rally the youth vote.

After that you have to buy it from Amazon or rent it from Netflix.

Chris Carter.  Please.  Bring the X-Files to the tubes where it belongs.

Kansas City Named 22nd Most Wired City in America

Posted by Bradley under Technology

Forbes.com ranked Kansas City #22 on their list of America’s Most Wired Cities. Which surprises me. A lot of Internet traffic moves beneath our streets as we are a major point-of-presence for many of the Tier 1, backbone Internet tubes. Maybe they should factor that into their equation next year. :)
